Bettie Page
Much
has been written about this icon of erotic photography and her
life is well documented. Unfortunately passing away in December 2008 it
was a sad loss and a link to a bygone era. She was aged 85.
Like so many from her era the legacy they
have left and will leave is a credit to themselves and for the
entertainment of other.

Page
was most famous for the estimated 20,000 4-by-5-inch black-and-white
glossy photographs taken by amateur shutterbugs from 1949 to 1957. The
photos showed her in high heels and bikinis or negligees, bondage
apparel -- or nothing at all. |
